Haunted house and Halloween parades
For town councils, schools, shopping centres and Halloween events

What a professionally built haunted house is
A haunted house is not a room with bed sheets. It is a scripted route, with actors in character who know where to stand and when to appear, with effects make-up, lighting, sound and a controlled rate of entry so that nobody bunches up or is left alone.
We build it on whatever space you have: an empty unit, a basement, a warehouse, a park or a station. We bring actors, make-up, props, sound and the direction of the route; the council provides the space and the access control.
Beyond the haunted house sits the rest of the Halloween repertoire: horror parades with stilt walkers, acrobats, jugglers and creatures, and the closing fire show, with real fire.

For councils, shopping centres and All Souls' night
Halloween and All Souls' concentrate almost the entire year's bookings into two weeks, so it is the campaign that fills first. The work splits between three clients: councils building a haunted house for the town, shopping centres wanting parades and entertainment in the gallery, and private event promoters.
A full day is five sets spread across the day; at Halloween they are usually concentrated into the late afternoon and evening. If what we are building is a haunted house, we work in opening slots rather than sets, and we calculate the hourly capacity together, based on the route.
No stage required. We need a closed room nearby for make-up — effects make-up takes its time — a water point and a clear area if there is fire.

Where we have staged it
The haunted house we built in the ghost station of Chamberí, on the Madrid underground, is the one that travelled furthest: it ran on the TVE national news, on the Europa Press wire and in television interviews with the actors in full make-up.
Also at Rivas Terror, in Rivas Vaciamadrid, at the Osuna Halloween in Seville, and in Halloween parades at shopping centres. We travel from Madrid and the journey is included in the quote.

How to book and what is included
Tell us the space you have, the dates, the opening hours and how many people you expect through, and we send back a fixed quote as a PDF with several options. It covers everything but VAT: actors, characterisation and effects make-up, costume, props, our own sound, fire materials, insurance, social security registration, travel, accommodation and per diems.
Every performer is registered with social security by the company, which carries public liability insurance and accident insurance. We give you a description of the build, its running time, the capacity per slot and photographic documentation for the file.
If you are unsure whether your space works for a haunted house, call us and we will look at it: almost any enclosed venue will do, and what will not is replaced with parades and street entertainment.
To book the haunted house all we need is the date, the site and the capacity you are expecting. We build it and take it down ourselves, with our own actors, our own set dressing and our own kit: it is not a bare structure hire. We have built it for town councils, for shopping centres and for schools during Halloween week.

The haunted house on television
The haunted house we built in the ghost station of Chamberí, on the Madrid underground, was covered on the news by Telemadrid and TVE, and reported by the Europa Press agency. Thirteen runs a day for the whole week of Halloween.
This is not a shop-window set-up: it is a walk-through with actors in full make-up, zoned sound and effects that change from room to room, built in a real space with controlled capacity. The same thing we build for a town council, in their square, their warehouse or their arts centre.
On the TVE national news
The TVE news bulletin opens with the haunted house at Chamberí underground station.
Europa Press report
The agency walks through the haunted house with the public on opening day.
Interview with the characters
The actors, in full make-up, explain how it is built.
