What a set of maritime and pirate entertainment includes

Pirates, corsairs, mermaids and sailors, in period costume, with prop cutlasses and the emphasis on the parade: the maritime theme was made to walk a promenade, not to stand still on a stage.

The cast combines stilt walkers, balance acts, acrobats, jugglers, specialists and dancers, and the close is the fire show: torches, fans and lit staffs, with real fire. On the seafront, with the sea behind it, it is one of the strongest closes in our whole repertoire.

A walkabout set runs thirty minutes; a static one, twenty-five. At events with younger audiences we stage the boarding: a treasure hunt with the children, with a map, challenges and loot, which fills one of the afternoon sets.

For summer festivals, coastal towns and maritime fairs

This theme is booked at two moments: the patron saint festivals of coastal towns, between June and September, and themed fairs that build a maritime market or a harbour reconstruction. It also fits neighbourhood parties with family audiences, where pirates work as walkabout characters without a full setting.

A full day is five sets spread across the day; a half day, three, which is what usually fits an evening village dance. If the festival runs several days, the price per day comes down.

We need no stage and no set-up: a closed room nearby to change in, a water point and a clear area for the fire. If the fire set goes on sand, we agree it with the council beforehand and put the terms in writing.

These are coastal towns with long festivals lived out in the street, which is exactly where this theme pays off. We travel from Madrid and the journey is inside the quote, so distance does not change the price.

It covers everything but VAT: performers, costume, props, our own sound and microphones, fire materials, insurance, social security registration, travel, accommodation and per diems. No weekend, bank holiday or peak season surcharge.

Every performer is registered with social security by the company, which carries public liability insurance and accident insurance. We give you a description of each show, its running time, sets per day, audience and photographic documentation for the file.
