70s, 80s and 90s show
Tributes, impersonators and an eighties party for verbenas and village festivals
Marilyn Monroe impersonator

The white dress and the subway-grate pose are still the most recognisable image of the twentieth century. As a tribute act she performs her repertoire and then stays among the audience for photographs, which is where she pays off most. In the circus version she comes in as a parade character, with period walk and humour. It fits 50s and 60s themed parties, corporate galas and openings.
Michael Jackson tribute

This is the tribute where it shows most whether the performer can really dance: the moonwalk, the lean and the isolations cannot be improvised. Our artistic director specialises in mechanical movement and Michael Jackson style, so the number rests on technique and not just on the suit. It works on stage, in the hora loca and in a street parade.
Rocío Jurado impersonator

Copla and Spanish song, for the audience that fills the squares at town festivals. As a tribute act, the characterisation and repertoire of the greatest of them all. In the circus version it becomes a gala entrance in diva costume that opens the verbena before the orchestra starts. Much requested in Andalusia, Extremadura and Castilla-La Mancha.
Elvis Presley tribute

The white Las Vegas jumpsuit, which is the one the audience recognises instantly. As a tribute act, a 50s and 60s rock and roll repertoire for verbenas and American-themed parties. In the circus version, Elvis works between the tables of a corporate event or a wedding and hands out songs and poses with no stage needed.
ABBA tribute

Four characters, platform boots, sequins and the repertoire everybody dances to without anyone having to explain it. It is the tribute that works best when the audience is all ages: grandparents and children know the same songs. In the circus version the quartet becomes a disco parade for a fair or a carnival procession.
Mecano tribute

The Spanish 80s tribute par excellence, and the one that stirs the most nostalgia at a village verbena. A characterised trio, a Movida Madrileña repertoire and period staging. In the circus version it is built as a street number with 80s styling, ideal for light switch-ons and neighbourhood parties in Madrid.
Freddie Mercury tribute

The crown, the cape and the half-microphone gesture: the most theatrical character of all the ones we do. As a tribute act it is a stage number with the Queen repertoire. In the circus version he goes out into the square as a parade figure and pulls the crowd along singing. It fits festivals, town festivals and New Year galas.
Tribute acts and impersonators from the 70s, 80s and 90s for village festivals, verbenas, town councils and corporate events. Tributes to Michael Jackson, Elvis, ABBA, Mecano, Rocío Jurado, Freddie Mercury and other great Spanish and international artists.
There are two different ways to book this, and it is worth deciding before asking for a quote, because the set-up and the price are not the same.
The pure tribute act is a stage number. Faithful characterisation of the artist, their repertoire, singing, dancing and acting, and period staging. It is what fits when there is a stage, chairs and an audience that is going to sit down and watch a set: a town festival verbena, a corporate gala with dinner, the closing night of a fair.
The circus version takes the same character and gets them out of there. The performer does not stay on the stage: they work among the audience, do street parades, and stilts, juggling, acrobatics and comedy are added in. It is what works in a square with no stage, at a street fair or in a procession, and it lets the same cast cover the whole day instead of a single set.
The two can be combined on the same day, and it usually works out better that way: the character does a street parade in the afternoon, the crowd recognises them, and at night they go up on stage for the full number. It costs less than booking two separate casts, and the square is already full for the night set.
